Ajax could smell the ocean even from here, a faint hint of salt wafted through the gaps in the tall grass as he breathed deep. There was no fanfare to it all, Ajax expected it to be more...vivid he supposed, like something he'd never forget. But they were here to fight and he intended to do just that, the pirates started to attack the defenders and the wolves of Valhalla responded in turn. He had no interest in butting into someone else's fight, and thus he was quick to narrow in on a brownish wolf with vivid blue eyes. He had a stance about him that showed he was ready to defend himself and that was enough for Ajax to have him hurtling towards the Valhalla wolf, tail flicking as the blade unsheathed itself to its full length. He'd been training a lot and was eager to try it out on a live target.

Skidding to a stop in front of his opponent he adjusted his footing, making it appear as though he was about to lunge, before he arched his long fox tail around and slashed it like the opening strike of a sword duel. En garde!
