Ready, aim...

Avacyn settled in with Saracyn to wait for the others to arrive and soon enough they did just that. A little grin crossed her lips as Albion approached them first, meeting his smirk with one of her own as her husband to be sat across from them. Of course she noticed the pointed way Albion avoided looking at Saracyn and the slight snarl that crossed her brother's lips–to which she gave his shoulder a quick nudge as she glanced his way. Others filed in quickly after, including the pack's newest member who Avacyn hadn't truly gotten to know yet as well as Desponia and Fia. As everyone joined into the meeting she gave them a nod of greeting, but held off on saying anything until the whole party had gathered. With the additions of Chade, Kavik, Uncle Deimos, and Ifrit their group was complete and she gave everyone a smile as she began their meeting.

"Thank you for coming, everyone. As you know, a raid has been arranged for us to have some on the ground practice with large scale combat. While I doubt that we will be launching any wide spread attacks any time soon, it's still good to be prepared for any occasion. The target for our raid this time will be Valta–an ally of Ashen that resides in the near by rapids and Sunset Falls. They will be expecting us so trying to capitalize on the element of surprise is a moot point, but otherwise we can focus on other strategies and use this as valuable practice to hone our individual skills as well." There was a slight pause to let them absorb what had been said already before she added, "While you all are our main fighting force for this raid, we will also be including the rest of the pack as support and preparation. Again, this might be for practice, but we are going to utilize this as if it were real for the experience. I've already begun breaking up our members into groups that will assist with setting up a camp in the Redbud Nook, another group that will be available for triage after the fights at the camp should anyone need them, and finally a group that will stay here to protect our borders while the bulk of the pack is away. We will be heading out to the Redbud Nook first thing in the morning to meet up with our group of scouts so make sure you have all of your preparations done by then."

She let her dark gaze scan the crowd for a moment, silently making sure she hadn't missed anything. She smiled a bit, adding, "We've arranged with Valta's alpha that the looser of this raid must provide and host a feast for the other pack. So unless you all want to be hunting like crazy to replenish our stores after a feast I suggest we win. Any questions?"
