But instead of dodging out of the way he moved to grab the staff, fulling intending to snatch it from the mandrills grasp and use the weapon for his own means. At the same time he adjusted his footing, his kitty claws unsheathing as he better gripped the terrain beneath his paws. It helped as the staff was nice and long, meaning he could dodge the wolf's attack whilst countering the mandrill at the same time. The best fighters chained attacks together, kept the momentum going as they pushed their opponent onto the defensive.
