Ryker's gaze would soften before his white lined ears would perk up. something was wrong, something didn't feel right now. A pit formed in the boy's stomach. He had to go home, he had to go home.

I-I'm sorry...but I have to go home, I have to go now. Bye" he said over his shoulder as the boy started to run home.
