Nothing like a raid to get your blood flowing

Desponia did her best not to look like she was purposefully lagging slightly behind the group, letting herself drift just enough behind them that she wasn't getting left behind but also frankly she wasn't really up on the whole camaraderie thing and wasn't eager to encourage anyone to try it. She stopped and half-heartedly listened to her niece's reminder not to get to brutal and was reminded again that what she really wanted was to get to really sink her teeth into someone, but she'd hold back here, she wasn't keen to lose what little freedom she'd already been granted.

Still holding herself back from the group had it's downsides, notably that when fighting broke out she quickly realized everyone was already engaged with others, and despite her disdain for having to hold herself back right now she was still eager for a fight, go figure, but so far she was left wanting. The woman wove her way around the combatants and decided hey, might as well just keep going until someone stopped her. It was a raid right?
