It would figure she wasn't exactly gonna get very far, a bark the heads up that she was given that a bigger purple wolf was barreling down on her. It took a moment for her brain to properly click over. Her first instinct was that she was finally seeing the other shoe drop, that her sister's graciousness had finally run out and she'd set one of her bigger half-brothers on her, middle of a raid, they could claim whoever they wanted had picked a fight and got a little too rough. But a moment later she really registered who was coming towards her, a moment too late unfortunately, while she probably would have normally had the speed advantage she'd lost it in the moment of distraction, the primal fear that had been instilled in her since her pup hood, and she only managed to start skittering away from the man, not enough to escape his claws though and she hissed in pain as she felt them slice into her flesh. Okay, so this man had some surprises, that made it more fun at least! Desponia used her half-panicked sidestepping to pivot on her forepaws, turning to face the man more head-on. The man could easily steamroll her if she let him use his height and visible strength over her, so instead, she'd need to use her own size to her advantage. So she would try to step into the man, shover her head forward and then up, she was hoping to clash her horns along the underside of his jaw, they weren't particularly useful for stabbing and goring, but they were useful for control if she could get them on or around someone she could more easily keep them where she wanted, not that it was a perfect tactic. But hey, might as well do what she could right? And besides, if she even could manage to smash them into a part of him it would hurt, not her though.
