He had had a lot of time to think about his place in this pack. Avalon was where he wanted to be, he'd decided. He often kept watch over the livestock. Sheep, mostly, and he quite enjoyed it. He had been able to tune out the annoying bleating things, but they were gentle creatures and he appreciated that. He enjoyed roaming the range and the outlying lands, running across the hills and racing the birds and deer, and other livestock. He kept them safe, protected them from the threat of outside predators, and in turn, they trusted him to keep them safe and sound. They didn't run or panic or feel threatened by his presence. Though some were still wary of the wolves that kept them, Balian so far had no issues with the animals they kept. He didn't know if Corbie had a place specifically for him concerning the livestock, but whether she did or not, it was high time he let her know what he wanted for his position here. With that in mind, he sought her out, heading to the barn where she would probably be. Or not, he didn't know.
