Hooves are no joke and the wolf seems to understand that. Oscar’s tail slaps side to side as his rump lifts, leg striking out and missing Rhysand. His opponent dips underneath, avoiding the hoof, while diving underneath his belly. Instinct takes over as his tail snaps underneath, trying to cover his genitals from any attacks. Hooves strike the ground repeatedly as the ass begins to buck; his front end lifting slightly before plunging back toward the ground and sending his back end up high. The donkey feels the wolf’s teeth graze his hind left leg and he brays in alarm, aiming to turn his body and sit on the attacking creature. Not the most glamourous of a pin attempt but it works.

Meanwhile, the birds fight, Nugget aiming pecks at the eagle’s face in an attempt to get it to release him. Wings strike out at the enemy bird, as the rooster does everything it can to force the eagle away.
