When he confirmed that her intuition had been correct, she offered a light nod as she prepared to lean in to coat the wound with the salve she had made. However, she was intercepted. At first, she thought he was just taking a closer look- at the wound or pulp, she wasn't sure. But when he insisted that a step had been missed, she sat back waiting for him to go on in offering further instruction. What she did not expect, was the sudden touch- the rasp of his tongue causing a stinging sensation as he exposed the wound to the herbal remedy. Talyssa hissed in sudden pain as she withdrew her wrist from his grasp. "Ow! That hurts." She said accusingly, looking at the punctures that the sensation radiated from. As the feeling subsided, she returned her attention to the boy for a moment, before glancing upwards. It was nearly dark, and she dreaded the trouble that was awaiting her at home. "I need to be going …” The girl announced before straightening herself up to leave.
