His paw connected with his opponent and it gave him a single moment to reset his defenses, getting his bearings a bit as he gripped the ground with his large claws and lowered his head a bit with a snarl on his lips. He had no idea who this guy was, but with blood drawn and a pretty nasty slice across his jaw given he was feeling a lot less willing to go along with this whole "practice fight" thing they had originally walked into. Whoever this was it felt like he had some sort of vendetta and even though Deimos had no clue what his issue with him was he wasn't going to just back down because this was their "ally".

The brown-hued man charged back in almost immediately, his jaws lunging yet again toward his neck. With a low growl, Deimos let his opponent go for his neck, but only to use it as bait. Right before his teeth made contact, Deimos ducked down a bit, feeling the other male's teeth sink into the upper part of his neck instead of the side, making him growl louder with another irritated snarl. With his opponent in such close range though it offered him a chance to get in a bite of his own and he went to grab the upper part of the wolf's foreleg, biting hard enough to draw blood while he threw the curve of his shoulder up into the smaller brute's throat to get him to let go of his neck so he could get the upper hand and yank him to the ground.
