The previous night had been ... a disaster to say the least. She replayed the confrontation between her father and Sephiran over and over, with bitter distaste towards the boy, and herself for lingering too long after dark in the first place. The guilt of having caused her parents distress over the entire situation was bad enough, but then to have woken just before dawn with a throbbing leg made it that much worse. Talyssa laid still for quite a while, counting the sudden spikes of pain as she tried to focus on anything else ... before giving up on sleep all together. With a silent huff, she hauled herself up to her feet, and as quietly as she could, exited her family's bedroom. Once outside, she moved a little more freely as far as noise went. However, she was left with a slight limp due to the soreness in her muscles.
The girl lightly descended the stairs, crossed the foyer, and into Hearthstone's first-floor east wing. Just as she rounded the corner, she stopped at the first door she came to- the infirmary. The door was closed, allowing her to face an internal debate before making a decision. If she should leave, and come back later ... or if she should press forward and admit what happened to whoever it was waiting inside. Eventually, she mustered the courage and gently pushed the door open, leaving it narrowly open as she called in to see if any of the healers were around. "Hello?" Talyssa called lightly, hoping that someone would answer her. She didn't need much, as she felt she had done a fairly decent job cleaning it out- and the boy did put something on it to help it mend. If she could just get something to ease the pain ...
