Fight Song

Rogue was hiding. He was stealth, he was shadow. There was no way his parents would find him for a totally unnecessary bath and nap time, no sir! Creeping his way around the family palace, the small midnight blue pup weaved his way between vegetation and home furnishings, deftly avoiding detection—at least until he heard a call from his cousin go out from across Empire lands. All of a sudden, the sneaky little spy’s head shot up from behind the shrubbery he was crouched behind, excitement in his vivid sunset purple eyes and tiny tail wagging so fast it was a blur hanging off his rump. Oh boy, more play time!

Darting out of the palace as fast as his legs could carry him, before either of his parents could catch him and stop him, Rogue made a beeline for the lake. Given the lake was quite large and his sense of direction was still fairly muddled at best as a puppy, the young Klein prince ended up on the opposite side of the lake from his cousin, taking a moment to sweep his surroundings with his gaze before he spotted her a ways off. "Aw dangit!" he muttered to himself and began running the perimeter of the lake until he arrived at Seere’s makeshift training arena. "I’m here!" declared the juvenile royal with his father’s signature proud grin on his face and an air of his mother’s regality about him, sauntering up to Seere as if he hadn’t gotten his directions mixed up at all. Nope, Rogue definitely never got lost!
