Artorias did not enjoy disciplining his children. For the most part, his five pups were well behaved, if not a little rambunctious and energetic, and seldom did they do anything that truly broke rules or upset him and Briar. However, this most recent mishap had been something entirely different. Dusk's recklessness in the God's Garden had caused an irreparable injury to Thorn and she had to face the consequences of her actions. Artorias and Briar had discussed at length how they wanted their daughter to learn her lesson about being careful with dangerous objects and always being mindful of one's surroundings so accidents like this didn't happen. The solution? A public lesson on weapon safety and situational awareness, taught by Dusk, delivered to the entirety of the Hallows. A public presentation... It was every child's worst nightmare and a guaranteed way to make sure the little Lady Carpathius learned from her mistakes. Plus if they were lucky, then just maybe Dusk would take away some learns from this herself.

The Carpathians permitted their daughter a few weeks at the turn of autumn to prepare her lesson, allowing her to study from her sire in the armory and ask questions of him to prepare for her presentation. Ultimately though, this would be all Dusk's work. They could give her the guidance, but only she could come to the answers. When the time came for her punishment, Artorias led his daughter into the Great Hall and took his seat upon the wooden throne on the elevated dais where the Carpathians' table sat. A wooden podium sat on the dais where Dusk could stand if she wished, able to be seen by all in the hall. Pitchers of water had been set out on all the tables along with goblets and bowls for the audience to drink from as they listened to Dusk's lessons, but pointedly no alcohol had been served. The last thing Artorias wanted was anyone getting hammered while this was happening. It was early evening, just when most wolves would be finishing up their daily tasks, so the audience would be plentiful for her.

Once situated, Artorias tipped his muzzle up and gave a call for all of the Hallows to assemble for a meeting. This was a non-negotiable summons; all had to attend. Dusk would have no shortage of eyes upon her tonight. While they waited, Art glanced down to his little soot ball of a daughter with a raised brow and asked, "Are you ready, Dusk?"

ooc: 2nd round will be posted on March 31st! All characters must be in before then to be considered arriving to the meeting on time!
