Tenshi was familiar with the fact that she was large. While most females were slender, she was bulky. Taking on a masculine shape that surprised others when they realized it belonged to a female. It was this fact that caused Tenshi to favor a more distant style of battle. With her shuriken tucked neatly into her shoulder strap, she would keep them sheathed for now. She knew Usagi preferred close-up tactics with kicks and hops. That she could work with, even if she was the slower force in their dance.

She watched him diligently as he raced forward. His paws drummed the ground as she countered by taking a few steps back. If she could get any space between them, it would help. As he pivoted at the last moment, she pulled back even farther. The tips of his toes graze her chest as she sees the blade come swinging for her side. That she has little time to dodge. Feeling the edge press against her shoulder, she uses the momentum of her pulling backward to push back against the blade. Reaching her head toward Usagi, she tilts her chin to her chest. Shifting the weight off of the blade and toward him, she aims to jab at him with her antlers. Lightly now, she didn't need him injured.
