"Wari." Beru snarled as his head shot toward the sound of her voice. "Stupid!" The sudden movement spooked the bird, but it settled back in just fine not even moments later. "And where the hell have you been?!" He snapped. "When you left I didn't think it would take this long! It's been, like, what? A whole week, maybe more?" Truthfully he didn't have a frame of reference at all when it came to how long she'd be away because, again, the yearling hadn't been listening when she'd told him where she was off to. She looked fine though, a sight he swore would piss him off, but.. Well, he'd never admit it but he felt relieved by it.
"And for fucks sake. Of course I'm talking to birds now! I've been alone all this time and they match your intelligence well enough so I figured why the hell not?!"
