Sometimes We All Need A Distraction

With every step the male took, it appeared as if the forest was coming to an end, the gaps begun to get larger and allow more sunlight to light the way . With his mind and nostrils in tandem, he was certain that the clearing would reveal a water source. The birds sang their song as he squinted his eyes, adjusting himself to his surroundings.

Slowly the Lone wolf begun to quicken his pace, heart now pounding into his chest with the excitement of his discovery. A shimmer, a reflection of light on water sparkled not so far before him. He now couldn't control the excitement, his body yearned to quench the wretched thirst, that it had felt like an eternity since his last drink.

All of a sudden the trees disspeared, flooding his vision with the full exposure of the bright light. Before the clumsy canine could adjust his orbs to the light, the brush thicket had managed to entangle a front paw and leaving his body catapulting forwards into a somersult.

A white blur now hurtling forwards, SPLASH! What a sight to see, a wolf laying upsidedown in a body of water, legs frantically pawing the air as if swimming. Bubbles rose quickly, as Calyrex managed to surface, snorting as he did. His stupidity had caused him to forget who, or what could be watching.
