Well, it seemed the time had come. The discomfort had gone from the usual levels to overwhelming, and Cy just sorta knew. It seemed that the puppies were coming, whether she wanted them to or not. All of this, and basically at the same time Celeste's were as well. Did they even have enough healers to handle this? Probably not. Let them tend to the alpha, she'd handle this on her own. Try to handle this on her own. How the fuck was she going to do that? Cy couldn't help but cry out from the pain of it, alternating between the sobs and the whimpering. Peppered with expletives, with shouting, with crying. These fuckers were big, too big. How on earth was she supposed to do this without literally dying? Like being spit in two. Going from zero puppies by her side to three was a process that was long and arduous, but well... there was no stopping half way. There was no putting them back. The wraith had to finish what she started. And by the time she finished, all she could do was cry. They all seemed to be alive, seemed to be healthy. Exhausted, barely minutes pass.
