Tenshi's bulk and sheer muscle made it difficult to unbalance her; but Usagi was determined. He'd won a few spars before against those of her build. He thought nothing of it as his first movement barely made purchase, but given that his first move was quick but fairly predictable, he guessed she'd make a move to add space between them. Every time he pushed, she leaned back, as if she anticipated he favored a close-up form of combat. His mossy gaze captured the moment that he gained an edge with his blade, pushing his weight towards his front limbs and chest to forcefully back her into an unbalanced state until she suddenly dipped her chin and swung her golden-mottled antlers at him. The knobs of the mutations jabbed him, but not to cause pain, and though he felt the pressure of the antlers on his left cheek he aimed to jerk his head towards her, skillfully aiming to swipe his blade just below her snout so as to make her being her head back as well. The blade was dull and would not be enough to cause even a papercut; however, it was a hefty thing, more than it appeared given how easily he wielded it, so he hoped his strong swipe would force Tenshi to step back, as well.
