He had succeeded in ramming into the Pirate King, and while he was focused on attacking her from the front, he was aware that his brother had come in from another angle. He offered a puppy growl of satisfaction as his paw connected with its target as well, but what he didn't expect was for the pirate king to start trying to roll with them. The foreleg he had gripped had moved in a way where it was hooking his smaller body, and he gasped in surprise as his eyes widened. He yelped with surprise as he was flung up and around, hitting the ground with a hard thud, sending the air from his lungs. Crap, what now!? That was a move he hadn't expected at all, and it was clear the Pirate King either knew what she was doing against him, an inexperienced pup, or it was simply his not thinking through his moves very well. Or perhaps sheer luck. Whatever the case, it took a moment for him to regain his breath before ultimately deciding to keep a grip on the leg he had, using the stability to twist his hind end towards her and aim a kick wherever he could at her.
