There was another howl at her borders, this time it sounded like a younger male. Interest perked her ears and made her rise from her furs, Requiem was still out on his scouting mission, so she would be greeting this stranger by herself. Samael and Ilyn stood guard at her door, and when she left they followed her. "Do you think it is another emissary?" Samael asked her as he rode on her shoulder. "No, this one is different." Her pace hurried to the border where the stranger waited. "This one is small..." The gruff voice of Ilyn rang out a bit too loudly. "Size has nothing to do with strength, Ilyn, look at Atropos." The bear visibly shivered at the thought of Lurid's sister. With the dark figure of the boy growing closer, "Hello. I do hope you aren't lost." She wondered briefly what he tasted like, but the thought passed as she waited for him to answer her. The matter of if he was lost or not could make the difference between him being a meal and being family. If he was here to join he might be spared, but Requiem wasn't home yet and she was getting hungry.
