The woman that appeared before her was... unsettling. Quite unsettling, actually, and she towered over Hazel where the girl stood to assess her. The height difference was something the girl was accustomed to, surrounded by giants in the Armada. Still, something about this one was different. Carefully peering at the woman, curious as se does. Medusa. There is only the glimmer of recognition, some rumor she'd picked up on the wind. If it was enough that Hazel had heard about it, then she may very well be someone important.

"On your move," she carefully set her defenses. A soft, internal reminder about her weak left side. Stretching to her full height, doing her best to look confident and composed. Full eye contact with her adversary, and a nod. Hazel was ready, and more than willing. Heart hammering in her chest, excitement coursing in her system. She was ready.
