Damn it all! He had lost his first raid. His first real fight. And quite miserably, too. The pirates were returning home defeated, but Diablo couldn't stand to return right away and face his father. He didn't know if his father would be disappointed. And while he didn't know it yet, his father would be more than disappointed in him. Diablo broke away from the defeated group some time ago and went his own way. Just for a day or two at the very least...a little time to cool off and figure out what he might say to his father. Though truth be told, he was feeling pretty paranoid about Ignis' reaction. The boy had lost pretty badly...he had been nowhere near ready for that raid, and he knew it. He had been lazy with his training, hiding away and avoiding it for the majority of his puppyhood. And now he regretted it. He growled as he kicked a rock, watching as it went flying through the air. It was quiet around here, but he could tell others had been around recently. Would he fight someone else? He wasn't sure. On one hand, it would probably help release some of the anger he'd been feeling. On the other...he didn't want to fucking lose again. |
