The young pup had been playing off by herself. Rolling around in the dirt just for the heck of it. Eyes closed and laying on the ground with all four paws in the air, Delphi was having the time of her life. Peels of giggles left her and disappeared into the air. Content to make a mess of her fur, she would have continued if it weren’t for the rock that came hurdling in her direction. She stops and blinks as it plunks against the ground and rolls to her. Where had that come from? Jumping up onto her paws, Delphi searches the grasses for the one who kicked the rock. Not far off a dark shadowy shape appeared. Da? Gramps? Her head tilts as she goes racing toward him. Assuming its someone she knows, Delphi doesn’t slow down. Intent to barrel toward and into the stranger for a game of fun, she is determined to catch them off guard. |
