Itty bitty Delphi had a tendency to taste everything. From grass to dirt to sticks to things she probably shouldn’t put in her mouth. If you asked her why she did it, she probably would shrug and move on. If we were being honest, it’s because she’s a puppy and needs to chew everything. She liked chewing on things - especially plants. So far, Dandelions and that one plant Aji called Cannabis were her favorites. Everything else kind of just tasted like dirt. Yuck.

So as the little munchkin bunny hopped along behind her sister, Maki, she too was captivated by the pretty purple flowers. Watching with giggles as Maki pawed at it, Delphi would be the brave one. In on swift tug of her small dark paw, she snatched a flower and proceeded to shove it in her mouth. “Oh! Maki! This one tastes pretty good!!” Delphi exclaimed with her mouth full and at the same moment her sister yelped.

Concerned twisted her face as she tore around to see where her sister was. “Maki!” She squealed as she rushed over. “Bad plant!” Delphi scolded the thorny vines as she batted a paw at it. This resulted in her also yelping as a thorn stuck into her own paw pad. “It hurt me too. Bad plant!” A hiss left her mouth as she scowled at the big ol’ mean thorny vine. Why would anyone want to keep this plant around?
