R equiem wasn't exactly surprised to see Morbid was the first wolf to show up. When Lurid had informed him that her brother had found his way home to them, he knew the dark-furred male would want to waste no time laying waste to the peace that this boring continent had grown too used to. He greeted Morbid with a haughty grin, glad to see he had attended the training. "Morbid. Welcome home," he greeted his future brother-in-law with a respectful tip of his snout. He had always liked Morbid; the two shared a grim fascination with the macabre and the violent. He wondered if the Amarix prince would still be as friendly with him if he knew Requiem was banging his sister?
M orbid's question earned a dark laugh from the crimson brute, his argent eyes alight with mirth. Oh, he had missed the straightshooter Morbid was! "Unfortunately, no one today. We'll be doing a training session. Making sure our skills are sharpened now that they have a purpose to protect and not just kill." There were a number of power hungry wolves that would salivate over the chance to try and seize Mirovis. Until their empire was more secure, they would need to be its protectors. After some time when it became evident that no one else would be showing up, Requiem shrugged his shoulders and beckoned for Morbid to enter the arena. "Looks like it's a one-on-one today. I hope you brought your A-game, or I might be disappointed," he teased the other male, rolling his shoulders to limber himself up for a good spar. "How about a spar instead of a lesson? Unless you're afraid I'll get you on your back in ten seconds flat."
