The babe?s heart pounded in her ears as she arrived at the hectic scene, positioning herself downwind from the militants as she gathered energy that would need to be utilized during the numerous battles she intended to win, observing the bloodshed from a safe distance with a maniacal gleam to her mismatched eyes. Targets were to be sought but it was not the feeble she intended to strike at, wishing to test her competence and eliminate potential threats to Amenti and their eager allies in order to earn her stripes. Pupils had gone unwavering from the proud form of a solo warrior on the opposing side, taking up the duty of observation just as the phantom had, strength evident in the machismo of its physique, immediately piquing the interest of the ambitious fiend. It was unknown to the adolescent of this russet-kissed canine?s prestige within the opposing pack ? how dangerous it would be for her to attack the presiding queen ? but even if she was aware, she would be that much more determined to see her falter at her oversized paws. Alas, that opportunity would be delayed, for it was then that the sovereign burst forwards adamantly, joining the fray with the ferocity of a lioness and causing the babe?s devious smirk to elongate across her countenance. ? Gaze trailed her russet-masked adversary as the babe rose to her paws, rage settling within the pit of her stomach as she watched the woman fling herself into a mix of multiple competitors, pupils angrily flickering towards the Amenti woman that had taken her desired opponent. It mattered little to the hellion, however, for she would receive her fill in no time; she had no doubt that the russet woman would reign victorious over the Amenti Overseer, and then it would be her turn to step up to the plate. For now, though, the babe intended to preoccupy herself with the pale warrior (Sephiroth) that had attempted to intercept the Glaciem male within the same jumble as the russet woman, elongated forelimbs attempting to propel her body at a sprint towards the rear of her chosen opponent at approximately a forty-five degree angle from his right haunch, strategically placing herself furthest from reach of the gargantuan brute (Syrinx) battling Oddity. Head would drop to shield her neck from grasping, drawing back some to bunch her neck and add further protection, her jaws unhinging and pressing against the curvature of her neck, incisors exposed and at the ready. Ears would paste against her crown and mismatched gaze would narrow to thinned but visible slits, shoulders rocketing forward to add layers of fat at the base of her neck, hackles raised to add further protection there. Finally, her limbs that had been spread equidistant apart would bend at the knee so as to lower her center of gravity, nails biting into the soil for traction, and her tail would tuck defensively against her stomach, prepared to the best of her own ability. If and once she managed to breach the personal space of her target (Sephiroth), the babe?s jaws would attempt to grasp towards the bottom of the male?s right-sided ribs, the pressure applied behind her bite hopeful in breaking the bones they targeted. But her jaw attack was not alone, and the babe would attempt to accompany it by seeking to throw her jutting left shoulder-blade into the male?s right side towards the center of his abdomen, intending to knock him off balance and gain the upper hand from the start. All the while, defenses would remain secured and her focus upon the fight maintained ? physically and mentally prepared for the impending duel.
