It didn't take a lot for the girl to startle. Being in a new land and knowing absolutely no one was terrifying. Every shadow, every noise, every tiny thing that she wasn't familiar with made her shrink within herself. Her hair stood up along her spine almost constantly along with her tail tucked between her legs. Unlike Mortis, this Sirius guy was not going to follow her around and make sure she was safe. She wasn't expecting him to anyway since he was rather grumpy when they met. Yet without Mortis or Sirius around, she wasn't sure what she was supposed to do. The Warlord had made it very obvious that she had to find something she was good at, but she had no idea what that something should be. Whether her trembles were from fright or being cold up in this northern region, the young girl wandered along the walls of the Col. Sticking to the walls, she tried her best to navigate the warrens. A few days had gone by and she was already noticeably better appearing. She had taken time to groom out her coat and eat enough so that her bones weren't sticking out nearly as much. Overall, she was still thin and weak looking so it wouldn't be difficult for anyone to notice she didn't quite belong there. Her breaths were shallow and quick as her baby blue eyes darted back and forth. Continuing to wander and explore, she hoped no one would jump out and scare her. |
