He knew of only one healer in the pack that could possibly assist them if they needed, and he'd keep Alarr in mind, hoping he was nearby if he ended up being needed. For now that he'd see how things progressed without any help, noting that the contractions were starting and would only intensify as time went on.

"As ready as I'll ever be," he admitted with a smile, hoping it masked his own nervousness. Corvus had heard the old saying that no one was ever really ready to have kids, and he knew he was the same. He knew more than anything that he and Twig would be incredible parents once they figured things out though. He breathed a somewhat shaky sigh as he helped steady her and the whole process began.

Only when he heard the cries of their first born did he feel like he could begin to breathe again. This was real, it was happening, and things were miraculously going exactly how they were supposed to.
