Ooc: For the sake of helping things flow, I’m going to say this takes place after Gavroche’s death and vigil. Essentially Gav passed, Bellamy buried him, Bae-Syl left that dawn and when Lucy went to check on Bellamy she found out the news. This is later that day.

Normally their wolves would have a funeral with the whole pack but with her father, due to the graphic nature of what had happened to him, once he had been brought back to Ethne Bellamy had worked on burying him. The ground had been hard, frozen due to it being winter in Auster, and her mother had torn up her paws ensuring her mate had a properly dug grave. She had worked around the roots of a tree as well, wanting to bury Gavroche where both sun and shade could rest over his final resting place when the seasons turned. Luce could hardly believe that Gav was gone… and scared, too. A murderer had been so close to their home, and now… she was going to have to give birth with just the aid of Bae. Would she be able to coach him through helping her? What if she bled out during the process? What if a pup got stuck?

The loss was still far too fresh. After making sure her mother had some fresh salve on her paws Lucette had returned to her den and curled up on the hides Bae-Syl had padded their bed with. She had tried waiting up from him, eating only at the urging of Ruby, and when the night wore on she ended up laying down, feelings of sorrow and loss eventually lulling her into a sleep. She had been so deep in her sleep that she hadn’t heard Bae-Syl or the pup come in at first, though her companion, Ink, opened her eyes with a soft “prrf?” She had been sleeping next to Lucy, helping to make sure she stayed comfortable while Bae-Syl was gone. She could see Lucette starting to stir at Bae-Syl’s words though and so she padded to the spot she shared with Rush.

Lucette blinked open her heavy eyes, not quite registering Bae’s words. Then, seeing the child behind him, her eyes flew open and she sat up. “Oh!” She frowned a little, blinking her eyes a few more times. “Hi there…” She greeted the child, her gaze sliding back to Bae-Syl. “Does mom know she’s here?” She frowned. Bae was already on thin ice with her mom… she didn’t think Bells would turn away a pup but if he hadn’t called at the border to warn her he was bringing her in she might get angry… but then again, given what had just happened to Gav… there was no telling how her mom would really respond.

Mental health (particularly depression and anxiety) is extremely bad. Currently unable to handle IC conflict or conflict between characters, pack related or individual. I am struggling to post even simple things and will not be able to continue with thread if approached. Sorry for the inconvenience but I just can't right now.

Lucette has two companions - a kodkod and a saw-scaled viper. Unless otherwise mentioned IC, assume that they are close by.

Bae-Syl, as Lucette's bestie, guardian, and mate is welcome to invade her threads at any time regardless of how they are marked.
