The man was already on very thin ice, it would do him some good to have manners at least around her. He would be in further trouble if he took the child without consent from her, Seracia would not have it begin with him. "Why is he here?" Had the other children or mother been here Loccian would have assumed them came to see how his new litter was doing, but they weren't, just this single child.
