Shake N' Bake

Alexander had been moving through the lands of Ethne with a soft hum. Song waddled along at his paws and above him Keeneye was keeping an eye out for something tasty. He wasn’t sure if they would find anything challenging, given that it was winter, but he didn’t mind. Catching the scent of one of his sister’s Gav grinned and shifted course. His paws would lead him in the direction of Lyonesse, just in time to hear her call out to some rustling bushing beyond the borders. Alex frowned a little. Was someone threatening Ethne? His ears flicked back, green gaze narrowing as he watched not one but two dog-like beasts with black backs slip from the bushes. Jackals. They were skinny, so much so that their ribs were beginning to show, and they were snarling at his sister. Alexander raced forward, growling as well as he cast a quick glance to Nessie. “Shall we take care of these guys, sis? He was sure they could handle these mutts. There would be no need to call their mom or one of the combatants!
