The coyote that Elowen and her companion were dealing with snarled and bristled, fur standing on end as it tried to go for the canine that held its leg in her mouth. Ginger had none of it, dancing back and using distance to keep herself just out of biting range thanks to El being clamped on the coyote’s rear. It was in pain, yelping and snapping its jaws in frustration as teeth attempted to break down and continued to tear through flesh. At this point it was no longer a matter of trying to fight the bigger canine’s trying to get it. The coyote just wanted to get away. It started to thrash about, pushing against the ground as it tried to get away from Elowen and Ginger, both girls snarling as they did their best to hold onto their quarry. The fight seemed to be coming to a close, and a pair of coyotes were going to think twice before they dared try to come into the Hallows again!
