He was running late. But in his defense, he had been secretly sparring outside of Plunder lands. Away from prying eyes. Couldn't let his dad see that he was actually trying, right? But when Gil called the Pirates together with a purpose, it was a call he couldn't ignore. He'd been pretty lackadaisical in the pack. That much he knew to be true and would admit. But since he received a great deal of...words from his father and it was evident he was very much the disappointing child, Diablo aimed to train as much as he could. He'd show him!

As the midnight boy reached the gathering, he saw Aresenn leaving. He slowed, watching him go, and wondered if he was leaving for good. Frowning, he also spotted his dad arriving and he looked worse for wear. What the hell had he gotten into? Putting on a stoic attitude, he ignored his dad and went straight toward Rivin and Jack. He sat on the other side of his sister, gently pressing his shoulder to her for no reason other than...well...he supposed some comfort for himself. "Where's he going?" He asked, glancing briefly towards Aresenn's retreating form.

He turned his attention to Gil then, listening to the respected Pirate. Ah, so they wouldn't be pirates anymore, but raiders? Well, that sounded like fun. Would there be actual structure? Something to strive for? He didn't think he was yet ready for a rank beyond what he had just reached...so he remained quiet and let the others say what they wanted.
