The way she appeared to flow through the water as if she were water herself impressed Scald. Being one who lived on a beach, he had been a strong swimmer since he was a pup. How she could appear so fluid though was mind boggling. And with her face so close to his, he could nearly feel her breath wash over him as she spoke. That smirk of her’s dazzling him once again. There really was no way for him to keep up. It would have been easy to see him struggle as she dipped down and he felt her tail brush against his belly.

Fire lit within him once more as she called out for him to keep up. Not wanting to seem like a loser, he splashed water back in her direction right after her splash washed over his face. “I was jut takin’ a moment to admire the scenery,” he calls out as he smirks with a wink in her direction. He begins to paddle back toward the shore, trailing slowly behind her.

He watched her breach the waves and look back at him. Her promise of sunbathing enticed him to swim just a tad faster. His own paws would soon touch the solid sand as he too began wading through the waves up to the shore. Shaking out his own pelt, he let his eyes wander over her feminine features. Picking up his step, he reached out to give her tail a gentle tug. “Where would you like to go sunbathe?” Scald tries his best to sound suave but his teenage vocals reduce his voice to a boyish rasp.
