Hattori could not say he was overly surprised by the fact Mirovis had fallen. He hadn't heard of it till its downfall, that about told him all he needed to know about the pack it had been, the ending that inevitably came to be. The pack had left little signs of their time here, came and went like falling snow. The metal of the jagged sculpture creaked and groaned as Hattori watched it from the safety of dry land, ears perked as he listened to the peace that had befallen this place. Only the strongest and most determined of wolves seemed to be able to withstand the cold of the north, he had seen three packs claim the surrounding territories as their own, only to fade away into obscurity after a season or two.
