As The Sparrow Flies
PIRATE PACK CLAIM

Gilgamesh would wait. Those few moments of silence that hung between them seemed to sizzle with electricity. Even as the murmur of the others around them caused his ears to turn, he kept his gaze on the younger wolf. What would Ajax's first move be? Gil thought about this as the tension mounted. Flexing his own toes and rolling his shoulders, he anticipated something aggressive, foolish, and inexperienced. The boy hadn't quite seemed prepared when he had requested a fight for his own title.
Suddenly, sand came flying toward him. He had seen Ajax's paw lift and had expected him to propel into motion. Not some cheap shot to blind him - though he couldn't deny it had been a smart move. Feeling the sear of sand particles digging into his eyes, Gil let out a snarl. Shaking his head violently to try and rid his eyes of the granules, his ears compensated and heard the dull sound of paws diving across the sand. Blinking quickly, he tried to see through the tears where Ajax was aiming for.
Unfortunately, it was too late. When he was finally able to focus, all he could see was a set of jaws aiming right for his eyebrow. At that moment, Gil wondered why the eyebrow but realized it was actually a good choice. No one ever really expected to be bitten on the eyebrow. As he felt teeth pierce the flesh over his eye, he released another snarl. In retaliation, Gil reaches his paw out and aims to hook it around one of Ajax's legs. Attempting to pull the younger boy closer to him, he lets out a low whistle to call for his Wolverine companion. Urtur rushes forward and aims to dive under Ajax and bite at one of his rear legs.
