The girl is still uncertain of the titan, but the unease drifts away quickly. She watches him nod in understanding, purposefully appearing non-threatening, even as he slides to his paws. Why was everyone here so large? She wasn't tiny by any means, but compared to him, she felt tiny. Blinking up at him, she could not help but smile when he told her that she didn't have to speak. Which was a good thing because she literally couldn't remember how to. That was a bit hard to explain but as long as it didn't anger him that she was mute, they would do fine.

For a few moments, her body would stay close to the ground as he ruminated over what was down the hallway. His cautious movements were still rather startling but not enough to cause her to startle. Instead, she continued to keep her blue gaze on him, eyes wide and ears attentive. Taking in all of his movements, she studied him. How he breathed, how his toes shifted, the way his head stayed beneath his shoulders. He was... caring, empathetic, and nice. His voice, though rumbling and deep, was tender and friendly. Did she really deserve to be treated so nicely? It wasn't concerning when it was just Mortis, but other than the Warlord's standoffishness, everyone was decently friendly here. It put her on edge for some reason that she could not figure out.

When he asked if she was looking for something and then told her what was down the hall, her head tilted slightly to the side. Kitchen, food larder, and baths. Hm, not exactly what she was looking for. Really, she wanted to go outside, but the tunnels had gotten her turned and twisted around. Even if her stomach was rumbling quietly, she turned to look back the other way. Thinking for a moment, she couldn't figure out how to tell him that food did sound nice, but she was craving the warmth of the sun and the flutter of the wind. Letting out a defeated sigh as she turned to look back at him, there was now a frown upon her lips. Lifting her shoulders into a shrug, she tried to hold back the well of emotions that threatened to overflow. How was she supposed to get by if she couldn't communicate?
