He was surprised that he'd managed to land a hit considering how much faster she was than him. But he had managed to get her with his horns and even trip her up, but the satisfaction wouldn't last long before she turned around and came back towards him. Where the hell did her energy come from!? Nervousness was building, and he didn't know what to make of the words she shouted, but her quick recovery threw him off and he was too slow to retaliate with anything more than a swipe of his claws. He felt them hit flesh, but it didn't seem to phase her before she managed to grip onto one of his horns, and her speed and momentum coupled with his unbalanced stance since he had taken a swipe at her, Medusa had managed to flip him to the ground, sending the tawny male into a daze.
