The Night We Met
Briar & Isa

It isn’t difficult for Andy to find her sister among the gathered wolves and, while she is eager to intercept her fawn-colored sibling and introduce her to Isa, the girl decides to hang back a moment. The purple girl has always preferred books and star charts to the bustle and noise of gatherings but Briar seems to mix and mingle with ease. Pale blue eyes watch Briar, admiring the natural elegance and gracefulness that she exudes. The dusty purple girl knows she will never be as comfortable in social situations as her sibling but, watching the way Briar puts others at ease with merely her words, has Andy wanting to do better.
Finally, Andy approaches her older sister, noticing the moment Briar spots her and breaks away from the cluster of wolves. Her young heart is full of joy as they embrace, the girl excitedly thanking her sibling for making the trip. The warm squeeze that is offered has Andy giggling as she steps back, allowing Briar to look her over in the way that siblings that haven’t seen each other for a while, often do. Heat floods her cheeks at the comment about being so tall and the lavender girl quickly waves it off, saying, “Nah. I’m not tall. In fact, I’m the shortest one in my litter. You should see the others. Massive.”
A laugh bubbles out as she informs Briar that there is someone she wishes for her to meet and Andy wags happily at being told to lead the way. As they walk, Andy inquires how her sibling has been and smiles widely at her reply, excited to be able to go and visit her soon. Soon, she spots Isa near the food, and angles them over toward her, joyfully calling out to the blue woman. They come to stop close to Isa and Andy offers introductions for the two women. The girl’s tail wags happily as the pair talk, content to sit on the sidelines and offer information where it is needed.
Pale blue eyes dart back forth as the conservation flows, Andy’s heart thudding franticly in her chest as she hopes that they will both like each other.

Andy has an Eastern Chanting Goshawk named Aquila and two Snow Leopards named Leo and Gemini. They are always nearby.
