As the newly appointed King, he wanted to make sure he was doing right by the pack. Which meant making sure their new home was at least liveable. The abandoned and dilapidated resort didn’t have to be any sort of luxury for the time being, but they would at least have to clear out any animals and large debris. With the hopes of growing the pack, Gil wanted to make sure they had plenty of room.

He moved through the front entry way, ducking beneath a curtain of growing vines, to survey the dimly lit area. It would be a spacious meeting or hangout spot for whenever the weather was too poor to be outside. During his look around the big open room, he noticed a large chunk of the ceiling had collapsed close to the middle. If he could get that piece moved out of the way, it would provide better sunlight and more room for even a fire during the winter season. Approaching it, he began to shove and pull at it to see which way would be best for removing it.
