Making friends

Kyanite stomped through the woods. Walking loudly as she crunched fallen leaves and dry twigs under paw. She was capable of being a great deal quieter - more so at night, then at day - but clearly was making no effort to do any better.

Lioness stalked in front of her, silent as a breeze in comparison to the wolf. Her tail flicked against the paws of the girl, as she helped to guide her to where they knew Grimoire would be waiting for them. Kyanite was… well, not unexpectedly, grumpy. Her father had told her that the newly made hunter would be giving her some lessons. Did she really need lessons? She was a year old now. The only reason she hadn’t applied for a rank was because she had planned to leave the pack before now. That… hadn’t worked out too well for her. She realised she should have applied for a rank anyway. Maybe then her dad wouldn’t be treating her like a baby still.

A tap from Lioness alerted her that they were approaching the other wolf now. With her mask in place, she moved her nose about, scenting for the wolf. He was about… there. “Grimoire?” She asked, her tone not as friendly as it could be.
