Crisp fall leaves littered the ground of the northern forest, and Jack was once again on his roaming adventures. Though he was a member of Tortuga, he didn't like to stay at home for too long unless absolutely necessary. And right now, there were plenty of his packmates watching their home whilst he decided to go and investigate the surrounding lands to make sure that no enemies would try to attack them. So far, his scouting was a success. He hadn't caught scent nor sight of a hair from the Glaciem wolves, and he figured that most of them were out fighting the war or remaining within their camp. It was all fine and dandy for the rugged warrior, after all, he had nothing to worry about now that the Glaciems were busy. He could easily saunter in to their territory, after all, if he was right on what the king was like then Jack guessed that he would have taken all his able bodied warriors to the seige. Possibly leaving behind the pregnant and the imprisoned.

Ears picked up the sound of nearby water, and off in the distance he could hear the low rumblings of bears. A wry smirk lifted his face as he realized that it would be about time for the bears to be at the river for the seasonal salmon run. Last year, Jack had toyed with them as he would steal their catches from right under their noses. It was always fun to see a flustered and frustrated bear, and Jack was always quicker and sneakier then a lumbering beast. Granted they could run fast, but they could never seem to keep up with the pirate. Crossing into the rocky grounds of the river, he searched around for a potential target, and it was then that he saw a wolf near the waters edge and away from the main activity. His tail flicked behind his hocks as he planned a thought. Shining brown eyes would then flicker towards the ladies recent catch, and then he was in motion upon silent paws. With her back turned, Jack closed in as the dame focused on catching her next meal. And as silent as a hawk, he swooped in and nabbed the fish from its place upon the ground and would then keep moving to be several yards away atop his own flat rock overlooking the water. He placed the fish between his forepaws as he settled himself onto his belly, tail flicking in amusement as he gaze at the unsuspecting woman. "Oi! You havin' fun there lass?"
