Ambushing Zion was the most exciting thing ever! It was hard to roar instead of giggle, but he managed it - just - even if it was a little squeaky. Before he could get too excited, Zion reacted rather suddenly and very strangely. Before he knew it, he was suddenly flying as if his wings did work. But his flight was short lived, and despite flailing his body and his wings in order to try and righten himself (or maybe fly for real) the ground came it him rather suddenly.

It hit him hard, which was rather unkind of it. But it wasn’t the impact he felt the most, it was the crunch of the wing which flopped under him, and took the brunt of his weight. It tore in an audible and shocking fashion, and then Wylan was crying. It hurt! It hurt! Oh man, it hurt.
