All aboard!

Whisper toddled closer to her dad, using his sturdy feathers to provide her tiny limbs an extra step up to climb onto his back. Even now while he was laying down she got a little giddy from the height. Maybe she was born so small because in her last life she had been afraid of heights? She dropped her body low, short paws splaying wide in an attempt to maintain some balance, the closest to a bear hug the tiny wolf could manage.

“What do dad? Where go?” the girl chirped giddily. Whether it was the excitement of a one on one adventure or it was just the altitude getting to her, she wouldn't be able to say. She was just grateful she wouldn't have to run a marathon for each of the much larger wolf's steps.
