Briar was very agreeable, leading her back to the castle - or at least, Kite assumed it was the castle- she felt the change in the earth beneath her paws as it gave way to cobblestone, then the castle floor. She knew that the castle's windows were big and open, so it was no surprise to her that Briar led her a little further before she stopped them.
Cautiously, Kite peeked out from under her eye mask. When no pain followed she grew more bold, pulling it away until it was bunched at her ears. She turned to find Briar, her eyes blinking and adjusting. “Thanks! I just wanted to… Oh, wow, you got fat! ” She blurted out in surprise when she ‘saw’ Briar for the first time in this visit.
