It wasn't until she spoke that Cricket detected any youth in her voice. The girl had bitten her tongue, and the green wolf pulled a face and pushed her own tongue to the roof of her mouth. That hurt at the best of times. That and something had happened to the giant child's leg. Hmm, "Just-ah, stay where y'are, I should have somethin..." Her green eyes darted between towering stalagmites... Oh shit, it was even more fortunate the roof dropper hadn't landed on one of those. A leg was tricky enough to fix, but full blown impalement? Well, she didn't think there was a healer alive that could fix that...

Finally thinking she had found her stash, the tiny wolf darted over... Sucess! She dragged the scrap of fur that held her herbs back over to the other wolf, giving the leg a critical eye before she chose her treatment. This was gonna need the big guns. She began pulling out dried flowers and scrunching up her nose, putting aside the mushroom caps too. What she was looking for was a black, gummy ball that she had scraped off the inside of some poppy pods. It was smaller than a pea, but when she finally found it she loudly declared "Ah-ha!" and thrust it towards the girl. "This'll fix yer up in no time! It'll taste like lickin' a butt that just blew anal glands, but if yer don't chew it, y'should feel a whole lot better soon!" She waited, watching the girl expectantly. This was either going to be a miracle cure, or a disaster, but there was only one way to find out...
