It was a big enough tree, but Warden was pretty well convinced that he could handle it. The boy nodded to Wylan, considering for a long moment. Yeah, they could do it. They could do it together, he was almost certain. "Once I'm up, I'll help pull you up too." He promised, a sense of finality in his words. The plan seemed like a good one in his head, at least.
Well, no better time than the present. Warden threw himself at the fallen tree, gripping with his claws and scrambling with his toes. Grumbling to himself as he did, the boy bore down. Gritting his teeth, pinning his ears clear to his skull. He grunted with the effort, finally finding purchase with his back legs. Finding a foothold of sorts on the tree, and dragging himself up the side of the stump. Scrambling and fighting, Warden hauled himself upon the felled tree, panting as he did. Finally collapsing forward, but at least he was up. "I dunno why that was harder than it looked." He turned to Wylan as he finally clamored back to his feet, catching his breath. He'd done it, at least. "Ready?"
