Salt soaked

At Alvar's challenge the young girl perked up. She had a little on him in the heigh department and hoped to use it to her advantage as she charged forward through the waves, keeping her eyes forward to try and spot where the sandbars were barely submerged to give her a bit less resistance from the water. It was too close to call when they finally made it out to the sandy ring, the high pitched shrieking of the birds overhead even sharper in her ears. The girl watched on with wonder as they seemed to fall from the sky and into the water, emerging with small silver fingerling fish (or not). It seemed some of the birds were better at it than others.

Movement in the corner of her eye drew her attention down to the sand. "Check it out Var!" Morganna bounded forward, "That rocks got legs!" And big pincers. But she hadn't quite figured that bit out yet.
