Traveling with Vidarr was easy. Being with Vidarr was even easier. He was the shadow of her mountain. Though dark, he was comforting. With all of his flaws, it only made her love him more. She was settling into this life, to this adventure, to the excitement of what tomorrow brought. Stagnant she had been within the bamboo. It had not been Hattori's fault. He was content within the bamboo, but she missed her mountains. The allure, the mystery, the cold. Thin, dry air that made your chest seize with every breath. Frost that lined each whisker and caused your lips to crack. Tenshi could not wait to go home. Yet... She would enjoy the days that led up to Vidarr claiming his rightful place. The mountain woman believed in him, in his ideals, in his everything. Though they are from two different cultures, their minds are intertwined and their hearts are two halves of one whole. Tenshi is not blind nor ignorant to the chaos that may come one day. She understands and honestly, she welcomes it. She is growing old and wants to feel alive. If that means fighting off females that beg for his attention or casting away spies that slink into their homes, she will do it. War is no question when you are beside your soul mate. So she continues to enjoy her time during their travels. Before they meet up with the others. Before everything begins to really come together. She wants alone time with him because she knows it will be the last time they ever truly have that. Unfortunately, it is interrupted just as she breaks through the brush and lays her gaze upon the slow-moving river. This time of the year, the water is low and safe to pass through, bathe in, to play in. Tenshi was looking forward to having an afternoon of relaxing with Vidarr until the scent of a feline causes her nose to wrinkle. Not far up the river, the jaguar drinks, not expecting two massive dire wolves to approach. "Not the fun I had in mind, but it will be a good appetizer," she flashes him a toothy grin before cutting him off to rub her shoulder across his chest. In the next moment, as the tip of her tail is flicking in the direction of his snout, Tenshi is rushing forward. Her paws hit the ground in near silence as she readies for impact. If she is not quick to get the jump on the cat, she will be in for some trouble. Careening into the air, she aims to grab on to the cat's shoulder rather recklessly. |
