The silent warrior trekked through the land, seeking out something to take his mind off of nothing. He was tired of sitting around with nothing, and though he was normally so cold and so detached from the world, he secretly wanted a friend. Though he wanted much more then that, it just wasn't in him to go seeking out friendship oh no, instead he would push everyone away without really meaning to. It was just who he was, and he wasn't sure if that about himself would change. He trotted swiftly to the shore of the lake, stopping barely at the edge of the water as he lowered his muzzle to drink. Lifting his head, he would swipe his salmon colored tongue over chocolate lips, taking away the water that accumulated onto his maw. If only some memories were as easy to swipe away... Sighing, he would turn around as he tried to forget about his long lost adopted sister, Ellone. Wondering if she was okay, wondering if she was even still alive. At the same time, he thought of Loccian...wondering if she too was okay, or whether her depression would drive her to do something reckless while he was not around to help. Loccian...that name always struck a chord, though Squall didn't know which one exactly. He had vowed to help her through the darkness, but how could he when he himself struggled with it?

It was then that a strange scent caught his attention, abruptly pulling him from the thoughts as he furrowed his brows. He wondered who was nearby, and so he would seek out the scent and investigate. Within moments, he had come across a young wolf. Squall watched from afar, as first he seemed alright...and then all of a sudden he would drop in uncontrolled spasms. Squall watched in concern as the young boy seemed to be having some sort of seizure, and as soon as it had come it was gone. He watched the boy intently, wondering if it would happen again. But it seemed he was alright, seeing as how the boy seemed to be able to stand and drink water on his own. It was then that something unknown to the warrior would draw him forward, to make sure the boy was okay. Carefully he approached, stopping a yard or two behind the male. "Hey, are you alright?"
